The holidays in Miramar Beach look different from the summer rush: beaches are quieter, evenings are cooler, and most of the action shifts to two walkable hubs, Grand Boulevard and The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin, with Destin’s city traditions a few minutes west. This guide lists only dates we confirmed with the organizer or the official tourism calendar as of October 7, 2026. Always check the linked source before you go, since organizers can change times.

Shopping before the holidays
Besides Grand Boulevard’s shops, Visit South Walton points shoppers to Silver Sands Premium Outlets in Miramar Beach. For handmade gifts, the City of Destin’s Holiday Craft Show runs November 13–14 with free admission.
Easy logistics for a holiday stay
- Stay active between events. Visit South Walton describes the paved, three-mile Scenic Highway 98 Trail in Miramar Beach as good for jogging and biking with coastline views.
- Have a rainy-day backup. The AMC Classic Boulevard 10 theater is listed by Visit South Walton as a Miramar Beach option.
- Beach time still works. Miramar Beach has two regional beach accesses with parking and restrooms; see our parking and beach access tips.
- Pick a hub per evening. Grand Boulevard and Baytowne Wharf are separate destinations, so plan one per evening rather than hopping between them on busy event nights. Our Grand Boulevard day guide covers that side in detail.
