Mystic Pizza, the new stage musical based on the 1988 MGM film that launched Julia Roberts’s career, comes to Mattie Kelly Arts Center as part of its Broadway series. It follows three working-class young women at a small-town pizza place, with a score of ’80s and ’90s hits such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Hold On” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”
Niceville is across Choctawhatchee Bay from Miramar Beach. The Mid-Bay Bridge is usually the quickest route. Get tickets on the arts center’s event page or call the box office at (850) 729-6000.
Post-storm note: this listing was written October 12, 2026, three days after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin. Recovery work is still under way around Miramar Beach, so check the organizer’s page for any changes before you go.
