The 39 Steps: October 15–25, 2026 at Emerald Coast Theatre Company

When: October 15–25, 2026. Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m., Wednesdays at 1 p.m., plus 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows on Thursday, October 22
Where: Emerald Coast Theatre Company, 560 Grand Boulevard, in the Grand Boulevard town center in Miramar Beach

Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s fall Season 14 show is The 39 Steps, a fast, laugh-out-loud farce inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller. Mistaken for a murderer, Richard Hannay races across Britain through spies, romance and narrow escapes.

The run opened October 15 and closes Sunday, October 25, so there are two weekends left. If evenings are busy, the Wednesday 1 p.m. matinee and the extra Thursday, October 22 matinee are easy daytime options, and Grand Boulevard restaurants are steps away for dinner before a 7 p.m. curtain.

Confirm before you go: Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s On Stage page listed this event as scheduled when we checked on October 16, 2026, one week after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin. Most of the area has reopened, but recovery work continues in places, so check the organizer’s page for last-minute changes before you head out.
