If you’re spending Thanksgiving week in Miramar Beach, Alys Beach’s free Winter Wonderland makes a good evening trip down 30A. It starts with a 4 p.m. holiday concert and ends with Santa lighting the tree at 6:30 p.m.
The afternoon also includes letters to Santa, face painting, holiday photos by EPIC on the splash pad, cookie decorating ($3 per set) and photos with Santa ($3). Lines for activities close at 5:45 p.m. The event is presented by the Merchants of Alys Beach, and details may change.
