Miramar Beach visitors looking for a classic Emerald Coast weekend can head to the harbor for the 48th Annual Destin Seafood Festival. According to the organizers, the festival is free to attend, features more than 75 vendors, live music, shopping, and seafood, and serves as the kickoff to the month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo.
The event began in 1978 and remains a primary fundraiser for the Destin Charter Boat Association. Optional VIP experiences on Saturday and Sunday offer chef and restaurant tastings inside the larger free festival.
