The Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra plays the Academy Award-winning score of Disney’s The Lion King live while the complete film runs on the big screen. That includes Hans Zimmer’s score and the Elton John and Tim Rice songs, from “Circle of Life” to the finale.
Niceville is across Choctawhatchee Bay from Miramar Beach, so treat it as an evening outing and leave time for the drive. The box office number is (850) 729-6000.
Confirm before you go: The Mattie Kelly Arts Center’s event page listed this event as scheduled when we checked on October 21, 2026, twelve days after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin. Most of the area has reopened, but schedules can still shift during recovery, so check the organizer’s page before you head out.
