Hotel Effie’s rooftop lounge is hosting an ’80s and ’90s Halloween party. Expect throwback music, a neon look and nods to cassette tapes, VHS, roller skates, arcade games and breakdancing. Guests are encouraged to come dressed as a favorite icon, movie character or music legend from those decades.
A ticket includes complimentary valet parking, one cup of Hunch Punch and a rooftop view of the Baytowne Wharf Halloween fireworks at 8 p.m. Visit South Walton’s listing says the early-bird price covers the first 50 guests. For questions, Hotel Effie’s number is 1-850-351-3000.
Confirm before you go: Hotel Effie’s event page listed this event as scheduled when we checked on October 19, 2026, ten days after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin.
